Zeynep Alraqeb is a multilingual economist with experience in economics, social entrepreneurship and politics. She is based in Paris and works at the Banque de France on macroeconomic topics related to emerging economies, focusing on China. Before moving to France, she served the Deutsche Bundesbank for several years, contributing to issues relating to economic and financial micro data management and processing.
Zeynep is an MSc Economics graduate of the University of Warwick and the University of Cologne, where she was a Friedrich Ebert Scholar. She studied abroad in Turkey and in the USA, where she was a Fulbright Scholar.
Beside her professional work, she also serves as a head of the Zahnräder Network, a social incubator, bringing passionate young professionals from all around Germany together.
