Zdenko Grobenski is a Senior Policy Officer and Agile Coach at the German Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. He joined the public service in 2009, after having worked in Hannover and at the German Embassy in Lomé.
As part of his ministerial duties, he was responsible for European and international social policy, inclusion, and labour protection. He has been the envoy to the EU Social Protection Committee and Member of the Delegation to the 1st World Conference on the Development of Universal Social Security Systems in Brasilia.
In 2016, he was a Fellow of the XIIth Bellevue Programme of the Robert Bosch Foundation, seconded to the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
Since 2014, he has been the coordinator of the Interministerial Network Circle. Zdenko studied law, psychology and administrative sciences and holds both German State Exams in law. Zdenko’s focus lies on social cohesion, connecting people, creative understanding, and agile processes.
In his spare time, in addition to engaging with people and his interest in languages, Zdenko enjoys working as a night watchman.
