Shota Bukoshi is an experienced international relations expert with a strong background in multistakeholder governance, administration, and building institutional frameworks for countries in transition. As a former senior diplomat at the Kosovar Foreign Ministry, she focused on strengthening Kosovo’s global standing through innovative diplomatic and cross-sectoral initiatives. Posted in Berlin, she was head of the cultural department and later political department.
As an Advisor for German International Cooperation Society (GIZ) and part of the protocol team of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, she played a key role in organising high profile, international conferences such as the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024.
In addition, she worked as Kosovo’s program officer for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, promoting democratic processes through local cultural initiatives. As a cultural manager and consultant for NGOs, she conceptualised and implemented projects, conferences and workshops with an emphasis on international exchange and capacity building.
Shota is also a prizewinning filmmaker, has produced, and directed several short films and documentaries, which use an artistic approach to shed light on social issues.
