Safin Ilyas is a Berlin-based professional working in cyber security and the public sector. Fluent in German, English, and Kurdish, he has studied and worked across the US, Japan, Lebanon, Iceland, and the UAE. Safin holds an MBA from the American University of Sharjah and a master’s in Public Management from Zeppelin University. He contributed to the digital transformation of German public sector agencies and later served as an IT consultant and a cybercrime advisor at the UN in New York. His BA in Politics, Administration, and International Relations included studies at institutions like the American University of Beirut and the United Nations University in Japan. He also interned with KPMG in Munich.
Passionate about entrepreneurship, leadership, and diplomacy, Safin participated in the Fulbright Commission’s social entrepreneurship program and the LEAD Academy’s leadership training. As a ONE Youth Ambassador, he advocated for education equality in the European Parliament. He has represented at summits such as the World Governance Summit in Dubai and the Global Solution Summit in Berlin.
