Sabina Carli is a digital diplomat, an out-of-the-box thinker and problem solver with a background in international relations and international law.
She is currently working as an expert for human rights and digital affairs at the Mission of Slovenia to the UN Office in Geneva. Her work experience spans the public sector, think-tanks and NGOs and ranges from UN affairs and foreign policy to strategic communications.
She recently completed short-term assignments at the Slovenian embassies in Canada, Czechia and New York. Previously, she worked in the MFA’s Office of the Director-General for Economic Diplomacy, at the Centre for European Perspective, at the German Marshall Fund of the US and at the UN Association of Slovenia. Sabina is a former UN Youth Delegate of Slovenia.
She holds an MA in international relations with international law from the Brussels School of International Studies, University of Kent, and completed a postgraduate specialisation programme in diplomacy at the China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing, a research programme at the University of Seoul and ASEF Public Diplomacy Training in Cambodia.
