Omar is an open-minded person with a law and social sciences academic background. He is working as a human rights officer covering various portfolios with a focus on nondiscrimination and has extensively worked on women’s rights and gender equality, rights of minorities and discriminated groups.
He lived and worked in various countries including Tunisia, France, Mauritania, and Switzerland. Omar holds a PhD in political science and speaks five languages fluently.
He is open to learn from others and share his experiences with them. Endowed with empathy, he believes in global thinking, dialogue and cultural mediation for global and inclusive solutions.
