Enrique Augusto Noria Freyre is a Peruvian lawyer who studied at the University of Santa Maria in Arequipa – Peru. He studied sociology at the National University of San Agustin, also in Arequipa. He has worked as a lawyer in the public and private sector. Later on he became part of the Peruvian Diplomatic Service after studying two years at the Javier Perez de Cuellar Diplomatic Academy.
He has an MA in diplomacy and international relations. As a diplomat, he has worked at the Human Resources Office, the United Nations and Multilateral Division and at the Protocol Division. Abroad he has worked at the General Consulate of Peru in Madrid, the Peruvian Embassy in India and the Permanent Mission in Vienna.
Currently he is Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Peru in Germany, where he is in charge of cooperation and cultural affairs. He is a senior lecturer in protocol at the Peruvian Diplomatic Academy Foundation (FADP) and is Deputy President of the Peruvian Association of Ceremonialists (APCER). In addition to Spanish, he speaks English and French and has intermediate knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.
