Dafina Peci from Waldshut-Tiengen, Germany, is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and policy innovation in Albania. Since January 2014, she has served as the Secretary General of the Albanian National Youth Congress, where she plans and directs operations to amplify the voices of young people. Her dedication is reflected in key projects such as the Tirana European Youth Capital 2022 program and the National Youth Strategy 2023-2029.
Dafina excels at building strategic partnerships and fostering cooperation at national and international levels, creating opportunities for youth. Her extensive experience includes roles with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and the International Institute for Peace, focusing on strategic planning, policy advocacy, and capacity building.
Academically, Dafina holds a Master of Science in Regional Policy Studies and Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Sciences and International Relations from the University of Tirana and the European University of Tirana, respectively. She is also a certified trainer in youth activism and public policy. Recognized for her impactful contributions, she has received titles such as “Youth Ambassador of Peace” and “Architect of Tomorrow” at the Europe Summit for Young Leaders. Driven by the belief that young people are essential for a brighter future, Dafina continues to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders in Albania and beyond.
