Anesa Colakovic

Anesa Colakovic is a Kosovo-born leader with over 15 years of experience in social inclusion and community development projects across Kosovo, Serbia, the United States, and India. She has successfully founded organizations and businesses focused on social impact.

Recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 semi-finalist in 2019, Anesa has served as a Fulbright Scholar, World Learning Fellow, and Global Digital Fellow, among other prestigious roles. Her accomplishments include being a Schusterman Scholar in Israel and a Peace Fellow in Thailand, showcasing her strong networking skills and ability to engage with high-level contacts.

Anesa has received numerous awards, including the PEACE Award in Switzerland and the Right Livelihood Award in Sweden, which supported activists like Greta Thunberg. As a Rising Public Leader, she has developed exceptional public speaking skills, preparing her to address audiences at the University of Oxford.

Having grown up during the wars in Bosnia and Kosovo and witnessing conflict in Ukraine, Anesa offers a unique perspective on political and economic transitions. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, and Public Policy, with a minor in International Relations from the Rochester Institute of Technology, USA, and a Master’s in International Development from Ohio University, USA.
