Andreas Holzinger is Country Director for Innovations for Poverty Action’s Sierra Leone and Liberia offices. Andreas is a human development specialist with a track record of leading projects, conducting research and providing policy advice to governments in West Africa, Europe and Latin America.
Prior to joining IPA, Andreas served in international organisations such as the World Bank Group and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), where he oversaw project portfolios on economic inclusion, protection and migration. He conducted research projects inter alia for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and enjoys working on innovative policy solutions through human-centred design.
Andreas holds Master’s degrees from Sciences Po Paris and the Freie Universität Berlin, having specialised in the security, development and inclusion policy nexus.
