Aidah Bukubuza is a digital advocate with over seven years’ experience in systems innovation, data management, cyber and digital security and information systems. She holds an MSc in digital information management and systems innovation from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, a BSc in information technology from Makerere University and in certified enterprise and innovation from Northwestern University, Illinois, USA. She is a team leader at the AYDIA Gender and Technology Initiative, an organisation delivering data and gender-inclusive technology aimed at the SDGs.
She is a Fellow of Tuwezeshe, a feminist leadership organisation where she showcased her work in digital security, cyber peacebuilding and online safety for women and girls. She is also a Fellow of Mandela Washington USA, an initiative of President Obama, and a Chevening Award Scholar in the UK.
Aidah is a passionate digital leader and a very confident innovation researcher, speaker and ICT trainer, driving women empowerment in the technology eco space to bridge the digital divide gap.
