Ahmet Çörekcioğlu works as a civil servant at Zeytinburnu Municipality, Istanbul, where he is responsible for project grant calls such as Erasmus+, EU IPA programmes, Horizon 2020, the Black Sea Basin Cooperation Programme and activities in connection with embassies. His fields of expertise include town-twinning, local government diplomacy and municipal foreign affairs. Previously, he acquired professional skills in project management while working for a consultancy company and was involved in an NGO project on global environment facilities.
Ahmet volunteers in multiple civil society organisations such as the Zeytinburnu Cycling Club Association, the Turkey Photography Foundation and the UPS Club Association. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Ahmet Çörekcioğlu works as a civil servant at Zeytinburnu Municipality, Istanbul.
