In the light of continuing violence against women, Elsa Marie D'Silva, GDL Member, founder of SafeCities and CEO of Red Dot Foundation, is trying to bring more attention to this important topic.
Since the launch in 2012, SafeCity has collected over 10,000 stories and individual experiences - giving women worldwide a voice. Aggregating this data opens new possibilities to search for causing factors, thus finding long lasting solutions.
Verónica Zaragovia, a Colombian American freelance journalist, has written more about Elsa's engagement.
