Hailu Aderie Meskellie is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with extensive experience across various areas of leadership. He has proven expertise in managing organisations, mobilising the surrounding community and motivating others to achieve targets. Moreover, he is a proactive and judicious individual who takes a principle-centred approach to managing challenges. He performs effectively even under intense pressure in the work environment.
He is skilled at coordinating and cooperating with others in teams, always aims to facilitate communication and negotiate for win-win situations, and is a flexible and open-minded person. Hailu has served at various levels in 12 government institutions. He served as People’s Representative in Oromia National Regional State for two terms of five years each (from 2006 to 2015). After directing the Urban Climate Change Resilience Greenery Development and Beautification Directorate for 5 years, which is within the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction, Hailu Aderie is currently serving as Deputy Executive Director at Gada Transport Company.
Hailu has received numerous awards, certificates and letters of gratitude for his socio-political activities.
